Selected Projects
- Multi-Person 3D Pose Tracking with Stereo Fisheye Cameras in Outdoor EnvironmentsMay 2023 - Feb 2024
MITOU Program (Project Grant, Advisor: Yuki Igarashi)
Designed a multi-person 3D pose tracking system for soccer players using stereo fisheye cameras mounted on goalposts in uncontrolled outdoor environments. Developed algorithms for fisheye-based 3D reconstruction, data-extraction pipelines using YOLO and Human4D, stereo calibration from ground features, and an automated video-upload system on Raspberry Pi 5.
- Quantitative Player Evaluation in Football via Reinforcement Learning
Built full-team, quantitative player-evaluation metrics for football by estimating action-selection and state-transition probabilities from tracking data and recovering players' latent reward and intent functions via inverse and multi-agent reinforcement learning, including policy-gradient inverse RL and equilibrium-based multi-agent RL under Markov perfect equilibrium. Awarded the Best Prize in the Soccer Division of the 2025 Sports Data Science Competition.
